The TDC 6201 is a new, specialized banknote counter and is especially designed for the authenticity check of Euro, USD and local country banknotes. The TDC 6201 can read the magnetic characteristics of the Euro with the new 'EuroMT' sensor and thereby determine its authenticity. The TDC 6201 has a rugged and compact design and also has additional Infra-Red (IR), Fluorescence (Fl) and six Magnetic (MG) detectors for further authenticity checks, applicable also for other currencies. The latest detection technicians are used to reject most known US$ counterfeits, especially for US$100. The TDC 6201 has a computer connection for easy software updates.
